At Kay’s, we celebrate every body. From petite sizes to clothes and accessories in our Thick and Juicy collection, we focus on fashion that makes you look sickening.
Whether you’re shopping for those perfect jeans, a cute top that works with anything, or a dress that makes things POP, it’s all about the fit.
That’s why we put together some quick, easy measuring tips along with our models’ own measurements. This gives you the best picture of how our clothes fit and how you can find those perfect go-to pieces.
Here are a few tips to use as guidelines when you’re measuring yourself for accurate size estimations:
When measuring, wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust. Remember not to pull too tightly! The tape measure should be snug,
To get an accurate waist measurement, take the tape and wrap it around the narrowest part of your waist. Don’t suck in or hold your breath. Stand up straight as you normally would.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips. This may be about 7 inches down from your natural waist. Wrap your measuring tape all the way around. Make sure it stays horizontal and parallel to the floor without riding up unevenly in the back.
Girl, relax -- These are supposed to be guidelines. We carry a ton of different brands and designers, so please remember that the sizes in our guide are just estimates for fit. Styles from different brands may vary in how they actually fit. However, most of our pieces run true to size unless they’re specifically mentioned in the description.
For the best estimate on how a specific piece might look on you, take accurate measurements and compare them with our models’ specs.
